Named after a hill in Grand Haven MI that Prospect st. and Emmet St. runs up, that we rode down in the 80’s before there where local skate parks. In 2011, we created the company name “5 Mile Hill” to honor our home town and the skate scene. 5 Mile hill is a treacherous hill road that over looks Lake Michigan in Grand Haven. First the company was going to be a skate apparel company, but in 2016, we formed a skateboard company as the local kids had asked us to make one.

Now we press our own decks, silk screen our shirts and hoodies, embroider our own apparel. Our goal is to support the local area skaters and give them chances we never had.
